EVE-NG ExtremeXOS 30.2.1.8 설치

오늘은 EVE-NG에 ExtremeXOS 30.2.1.8을 설치하는 방법을 공유하려고 합니다.

[ 작성 기준 ]
VMware Workstation Pro 17.0.0
EVE-NG Community Vertion 6.2.0-4

먼저 구글에 'EXOS-VM_v30.2.1.8.qcow2 download'를 검색하여 파일을 다운로드해야 합니다.

 

1. EVE-NG ExtremeXOS 30.2.1.8 설치

Extreme EXOS -

• 필자는 위 사이트를 참고하여 설치하였다. 
• 아래에 쉽게 설명하였으니 따라오면 문제없이 ExtremeXOS 30.2.1.8 OS를 설치할 수 있다고 생각한다.

 

1) EVE-NG booting

• 먼저 EVE-NG를 부팅한다.

 

2) ExtremeXOS 30.2.1.8 OS upload

root@eve-ng:~# mkdir /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/extremexos-30.2.1.8
root@eve-ng:~# cd /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/extremexos-30.2.1.8/
root@eve-ng:/opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/extremexos-30.2.1.8# ls -la
total 8

• '/opt/unetlab/addons/qemu' 경로에 'extremexos-30.2.1.8'라는 Directory를 생성한다. 이때, ExtremeXOS Version에 맞게 Directory 이름을 설정한다.

 

• FTP를 사용할 수 있는 프로그램을 실행한다. 
• 위에서 생성한 '/opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/extremexos-30.2.1.8' Directory에 'EXOS-VM_v30.2.1.8.qcow2' 파일을 복사한다.

 

3) ExtremeXOS 30.2.1.8 image name change

root@eve-ng:~# cd /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/extremexos-30.2.1.8/
root@eve-ng:/opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/extremexos-30.2.1.8# mv EXOS-VM_v30.2.1.8.qcow2 hda.qcow2
root@eve-ng:/opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/extremexos-30.2.1.8# ls -la

• 위에서 Upload 한 'EXOS-VM_v30.2.1.8.qcow2'를 'hda.qcow2'로 변경한다.

 

4) Fix permissions

root@eve-ng:~# /opt/unetlab/wrappers/unl_wrapper -a fixpermissions

root@eve-ng:~#

• 권한을 수정한다.

 

5) ExtremeXOS 30.2.1.8 booting

• Web을 이용하여 EVE-NG로 접속하면 'ExtremeXOS'가 추가되어 있다.

 

• Image가 'extremexos-30.2.1.8'임을 확인한다.
• UUID는 입력할 필요가 없다.

 

QEMU custom options : -machine type=pc-1.0,accel=kvm -cpu Nehalem -nographic -rtc base=utc

• QEMU Version, QEMU Arch, QEMU Nic, QEMU custom options은 위 캡처 자료와 동일해야 한다.

 

• 아래 로그는 ExtremeXOS가 부팅되는 과정이다.

      Use the ^ and v keys to select which entry is highlighted.

(pending-AAA) login: 

Authentication Service (AAA) on the master node is now available for login.

SNMP access is disabled by default. SNMPv1/v2c uses no encryption, SNMPv3 can be 
configured to eliminate this problem.

All ports are enabled by default. In some secure applications, it maybe more 
desirable for the ports to be turned off.
